Building Sands
We supply a range of building sand across Oxfordshire for construction, landscaping and DIY projects. Our sands are suitable for jobs including mixing mortar and cement, laying blocks and paving, screeding, and pipe laying.
Different types of sand are suited to different applications, so browse our range to find the right material for your project. For play and sports areas, we also supply specialist Play and Sport Sand, as standard building sands are not suitable for these uses.
Our building sand is available for delivery across Oxfordshire in bulk bags of approximately 850kg or poly bags of approximately 23kg.
Building Sand
Building sand is a general purpose sand, commonly used for mortars and brick and block masonry.

Soft Pit sand is ideal for laying brick and block paths or drives. Can also be used for 'blinding' and ducting.
Sharp Sand
Sharp sand is primarily used for concreting applications and as a bedding product for patio slabs and paviours.
Screeding Sand
A mixture of sharp and fine washed sands, screeding sand is ideal for floor screeding, plastering and rendering. Also ideal for laying blocks, paviors and patio slabs on.
Windrush Eco Washed Cable Sand
A recycled aggregate from the construction industry, ideal as a filling sand and the laying of cables and various underground pipe systems. Plus as a sub-base for brick paviours and slabs

A ECO washed and recycled sand, processed from the recycling of construction waste. An alternative yet quality sand that can be used in the DIY and building trade.
Play and Sport Sand
A high-grade silica sand ideal for the children’s sandpit, sports fields – long jump pits, equestrian arenas and gallops plus other suitable leisure applications.
